Virtual Art Exhibit By Charis Argueza

Given the fact that not all of us can attend the Exhibit held in school due to this pandemic. Our teachers thought of a way to bring the exhibit to us. All our school projects and artworks that we worked hard on, being displayed there for everyone to see. Through these projects, we were able to bring out our creativity. Being able to express ourselves like how some things can't be said in words but art. Everything turned out beautifully. Considering everyone's hard work, We can say that it's a masterpiece. Let's watch the video and click the Google Maps link for you to feel much that you are here in the exhibit.

Foundation Week By: Cassandra Santos

Just last week, February 22, 2021, we held our annual foundation week. It's our 24th founding anniversary. To serve as an opening to this glorious celebration was our mass held at 9 am on Facebook Live.

During the foundation week, the teachers and staff held a ribbon-cutting for our exhibits like the Art and Science Fair exhibits and even got them blessed by Fr. Aram. The exhibit was meant to showcase the student's beautiful artworks and projects. It was amazing, getting to see the projects we worked very hard on, displayed for everyone who wanted to see it. It was great being able to see what the other students came up with too! There were origami flowers and different vehicles like planes and boats with lights.

The overall Foundation Week was really fun! We got to play games and watch the school play "Ang Paglilitis Kay Mang Serapio" on the tv. My favorite part was getting to play archery because our principal Sir Gab let us borrow his bow and arrows, and even taught us! Being able to see my friends and partake in the games our teachers had prepared for us was a great experience. Especially because most of us have just been stuck inside their houses.

Even we had mini-games (this is just for those who allowed going outside 15 years old above) we still follow the health protocol. We still wear masks and used alcohol every time. Covid-19 is not the reason not to celebrate our yearly celebration.

Preparation for foundation week by: Sara Harby

Even it's pandemic we still push through having a celebration of foundation day! The preparation of teachers and students for foundation day last February 22-25, 2021 is not that easy. They are tired and exhausted, but for them, it’s worth it because it was all successful. It’s our 24th founding anniversary, as a new student here in SVDPC I am excited to experience how it celebrates the foundation day but because of the pandemic, I don’t have a chance to physically feel how much fun it is.

Before a week of celebration, the teachers and students stretch their arms and legs for the preparation. There is play “Ang Paglilitis ni Mang Serapio” directed by the school principal Mr. Jose Gabrielle Florentino Castillo III, the training was held every day in AVR. The Art Exhibit was decorated by all the Art teachers, the Science fair was garnished by the Science teachers and other teachers who are free.

The designs and bulletin in every corner of the school like banner, health protocol reminder, the garden was made by the other teachers. “If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself”
