United Nation Celebration By Jenina Corinne Cornelio Click the picture to read

 United Nation Celebration

October 30, 2020 we celebrated the United Nation, how? of course thru online. We still made it even we are stay at home. This activity was manage by our English teacher Ms. Mariela Sam B. Tupaz. Thank you for making this activity fun though it's hard to do this because we can't participate there physically, but I am glad that the Vincentians participated satisfactorily.

In this celebration our host are from the Vincentian Oracle team: Angela Monique Samson and Gia Noveno for High School level and Trisha Ann Ibasco and Yulia Charis Arqueza for elementary. Each level has a representative country, and here's our activities: waving flag of our representative country, tour or lecture in our country that we are presenting led by the Vincentian Oracle members and the most exciting is the "Mr. and Ms. UN 2020".

In Elementary level the Vincentian Oracle made a tour of the representative country of each level. Seems that they are all interesting and listening to the speakers. Kudos! to my team members who made an extra effort for the lecture and power point that made the students amazed and feel that they are in the country that they are representing.

For high school level, together with sir Jun, sir Ed and sir Billy, one of the Vincentian Oracle member "Ate Cassey" Cassandra S. Santos delivered an informative speech about the countries that the high school level represented. It emphasizes more likely Korean and Japan. The students enjoyed it since there was about anime, k-pop, and so on. lol! Its an hour of speech that does not make us bored because it's interesting.

The last but not the least the Mr. and Ms. UN 2020. All the contestant made an effort for this. They wore a costume, they gave their best model and introduction, and show their knowledge in Q and A. I am pretty sure that this experience made them unforgettable because they joined a contest while staying at home.
Let's recognize the winners and let me show you the beautiful and handsome contestants of Mr. and Ms. Un 2020.

THE ORACLE

Message from the Director

Saint Vincent de Paul College

I am always happy and amazed to witness how students exhibit their God given talents and skills and how they show confidence in their learning journey. It has always been enjoyable moments to watch that make me realize even more that God has truly unlimited gifts to us, be it children or adult.

Last year 2019, I thought of having the school publication as a means for the students to express and share their gifts of talents and skills, thus, the ORACLE, the first ever school publication was born after so many years of SVDPC. And I am very pleased to learn that the SVDPC students are truly blessed with different charisms in expressing themselves in various artistic forms.

The ORACLE’s humble beginning started last year, school year 2019-2020, however, due to the Pandemic situation, it was shelved. The team did not lose hope but instead let their artistic imagination runs and thus it was made to move and with the untiring effort of its adviser, Ms. Mariela Sam Tupaz, the first issue was drafted. Likewise, she saw the excitement of the Oracle team of students.  Moreover, this year, Ms. Sam is joined by new team players of teachers who unselfishly contributed in their own special ways.

The ORACLE serves as an avenue for students to show their skills and talents in a healthy and positive ways. Guided by the vison of SVDPC and the traits of Saint Vincent, our student achievers are highly motivated and will continue to be blessed with amazing gifts.

My sincere congratulations to the ORACLE team and continue to soar high with God’s grace.

Guidance and blessings be with you all!
